Course Description
Outlines the history of Canadian law and the Canadian court system, and provides a foundation for further studies in the paralegal program. Students examine basic legal principles, sources of law, and the structure of the court system while gaining an understanding of the roles and responsibilities of members of the legal profession. Prerequisites: Legal administrative work experience, formal admission to the paralegal program, or previous legal coursework.Relevant Programs
