Program Spotlights

In January 2023 a cohort of students began their educational journey to complete the Optician Diploma at VCC. On April 30th, they celebrated their last class with a pizza party. Next up the students will write the NACOR exam in June and then attend convocation in July.

“It has been an honour to teach such a bright and dedicated class of student opticians. Throughout their time in the program, many secured positions in the optical industry—an impressive testament to their hard work and passion. I’m truly excited to see these future leaders making their mark in the world of eyecare,” says Patricia Sanvictores, Optician instructor.

“Graduating is like adjusting a prescription. It’s not always about the destination; it’s about sharpening your focus for what lies ahead,” says Yashvi Chawla, Optician graduate.
